At Minnesota Herd Fastpitch, our focus is the ongoing development of our players. With each team and season, our goal is to connect players with the quality coaching they need to grow their game.

National Team Tryouts

Our National teams compete at the highest level. Playing in tournaments all across the Midwest. Our goal as a program is to develop players in the off season so they can play their best when college coaches and scouts are watching.

National Team tryouts are scheduled for August 2nd & 3rd

*Players need to only come to one of the tryout days.*

*We have scheduled 2 days of tryouts to offer players more flexibility.*

Sunday, August 2nd: Tryouts will be at our field

12u - 9:00am-11:00am

14u - 11:00am-1:00pm

16u - 1:00pm-3:00pm

Monday, August 3rd: Tryouts will be at our field

National Teams

National Team Details:

Fall Season: August 1st – October 15th

Games: 4 Tournaments (all local)
Practices: 1 field practice and 1 indoor training session per week

Winter Season: November 1 – March 1st

Training: 24 training sessions
Practices: 1 team practice per week Dec, Jan, Feb

Summer Season: June 7th – July 31st

Games: 6 Tournaments (2 travel & 4 metro)
Practices: 2 field practices per week from June 7th – July 31st

What else is included?

2 Jerseys (player is responsible for pants, socks, belt)
Paid Coaches
Recruiting and advising support
Media Day
Testing/Metrics Day (beginning and end of season)
Access to test the newest demo bats and other gear

National Team Fees: $3,900 ($325/month)
